For the 17th straight year, Kansas City Restaurant Week is now here. The 10-day dining experience starts Friday, Jan. 9 and runs through Sunday, Jan. 18, featuring more than 200 participating restaurants across the metro that are offering “prix fixe” menus at discounted price points. With a wide range of food options, as well as some places with carryout and delivery options, this year’s Restaurant Week has something for everybody. We got an early look at some of the menus at a VIP preview event earlier this week, and from comfort food classics to elevated plates, several bites stood out.
